The Procedure

Before your dentist will begin the procedure, they will first need to clean your teeth to ensure the best results. Then, your lips and gums will be covered, so only your teeth are exposed. The Zoom hydrogen peroxide gel will then be applied to each tooth and then the dentist will use Zoom light to break up the discoloration and stains on your teeth. After 15 minutes, the dentist will re-apply the whitening gel, and a final application will be done after another 15 minutes.

Once the 45-minute session is done, your dentist may apply a fluoride gel to reduce teeth sensitivity.
